The increased level of cybercrime has led us to also focus more on IT Security and in this path of work we are now looking for a person wanting to drive the security work in the Bufab Group.
Our work so far has included a review and enhancement of our IT security work in all levels and we have formed alliances with trusted partners to have availability to skilled experts when needed and also to cover the daily security operations. As we are growing both organically and through acquisitions, it is important for us to be able to establish a constantly evolving IT Security setup.
We expect you to be able to create the required conditions for a secure and efficient implementation and integration of both internal and external system solutions. You will be driving projects involving the design, preparation, testing and implementation of selected solutions. We are convinced that a good design of our infrastructure and particularly of our network and accesses are linked to the security work, hence the need for a combined role of IT Security and networking.
Your main responsibilities:
- IT Security management
- Network architecture
Your approach should be based on an overall perspective and efficient collaboration with IT Management and the different layers of IT throughout the Bufab Group.
You will have an expert role within the Group concerning IT Security and Networks, support and follow-up within your areas of responsibility.
You will be reporting to our CIO who reports to the Group CEO and you will be located in Värnamo.
Your profile

Your educational background can but must not include degree studies. You should have thorough experience of working with IT Infrastructure, IT Security and networking. You know how to drive development, change management and support within these areas. We see a person who has either worked within a company or worked externally as a consultant to an international industrial group. In this recruitment the focus is very much on the person and the fit with the rest of the team. You are fluent in spoken and written English.
As a person you are self-motivated, business-and result-oriented while at the same time being process-oriented, careful and well-structured. You will be working at different organizational levels in an international context, which requires very good communicative and social skills to be able to create good relationships.
